Welcome to everyone stopping by from the Ultimate Blog Party! I am excited to be participating for the first time on this blog…and I look forward to visiting your blogs as well!
My husband and I started this blog about nine months ago. We batted around ideas for a name but our favorite option was “Life With You” which is the title of Our Song. We were able to hear it performed live by Celtic Thunder….it was amazing! The 1222 in our url is our wedding date. The Pilot and I got married last December!
Although I do most of the blogging, it is one of the Pilot’s posts that generates the most traffic. It was this post that was the first to skyrocket our daily hits…and we still get people arriving because of google searches to that post.
Which brings us to the next thing about us….we are an Air Force couple. 🙂 The Pilot is in his final year of ROTC and he will commission in June as a 2nd Lieutenant. Next February, Lord willing, we will be moving to Texas to begin pilot training. So excited for that chapter of our lives and we can’t wait to see what God has for us in Texas! One of the reasons we first started our blog was to better keep in touch with friends and family back home after we move.
As of yet, we do not have any children. Interestingly enough, it was a post on that topic that has made our Top Posts. (See that post here.) But being parents is definitely a chapter of our lives that we await with much excitement!
On our blog, you will find a rather eclectic range of topics. In addition to the more serious topics, such as the ones above, I enjoy blogging about books. One of my favorite posts on that topic is about fictional characters. We also blog about music, health, various life occurrences..and basically anything that interests us. Enjoy your look around our blog!

Thanks for stopping by! Nice to meet you! I tried to visit your blog as well…but I think the link might not be correct?
I’m visiting from the UBP too… and wanted to say hi to a fellow Bonnie. 🙂
I’m so glad you commented! It’s not often I meet another Bonnie. 🙂
Visiting from the UBP. Glad to find another Military wife. Nice to meet you. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! I’m always so excited to find other military wives! I’ve enjoyed your posts!
Thanks for visiting my site with UBP…It was good for me to visit your site because I have a co-worker that just miscarried. She and her husband are a young military couple and having a baby is something they both want. You have great information, and I really enjoyed your husband’s post because it’s true that people tend to overlook the effect on the husband. God bless you both!
Thanks so much for your comment. It took me a while to share our story, but I am glad that we did. I have been surprised by how many people have been encouraged and helped by it. I think that’s one of the great things about blogging. 🙂 I will pray for your co-worker…I am so sorry for her loss.
What a great thing for you and your husband to blog together. My husband had a career in the Army, and it was a good life. God bless you as you share your experiences with others.
Thanks so much for your encouragement! I am very excited for our Air Force life! 🙂
Oh you precious woman, I just want to reach out and give you a hug. It is in our broken places that Jesus meets us and creates a beautiful workmanship. We were not able to conceive for three years. Then we expereinced secondary infertility after the birth of our son. We have since adopted two more children. All three of our children are a blessing and I wouldn’t trade the pain for anything if it meant not having them. Even with three children, I will never take my body for granted. I know you will grow through this and thrive. Let me know if I can ever pray for you or answer questions. Blessings, Tereasa from hispenonmyheart.com
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I so appreciate your sweet words. Thank you for sharing your beautiful testimony. I have already seen some of the good that has come from all of this…being able to encourage others as well as having my character refined. And I know that God isn’t finished writing our story yet! Of course it is our hope that, since the doctors have said that it’s not a fertility issue, we will be able to have a baby soon….but as we wait on that it is testing my faith in God’s perfect knowledge and timing. But through it all I want God to get the glory!
Yay! Another newlywed! Thanks for stopping by. I look forward to getting to know you!
Thanks for the comment! It’s always encouraging to find other bloggers in the same general season of life! 🙂
