My name is Bonnie. I have always loved to write and journal…and I feel like a blog is the best of both worlds.
Writing is my outlet, and my greatest desire for this blog is that people will leave with a glimpse of Jesus. I have been through health problems and depression, both of which have grown me considerably.
I dearly love to laugh, but my happiness gets interrupted frequently. I am learning how to become authentic and how to pursue Jesus, not people. I have doubts and questions, but I am learning how to be free from the struggle. I love to read and frequently post book reviews. My husband and I are currently trying to conceive and that topic is also throughout our blog.
My blog is not perfect. I don’t have a Pinterest-worthy life. But I am learning to walk in grace every day. I question things to figure out the why of what I believe.
I am a stay-at-home Mom and I absolutely love it, ups and downs and all. Our Wingman is our answered prayer and I have learned a lot since he was born. I am also a Norwex Independent Sales Consultant, and I’m studying to be a pre and post natal fitness specialist. You can find me on Pinterest and Periscope (EasyGreenClean).
The name of the blog comes from the song my husband and I adopted as Our Song….Life With You by Celtic Thunder. I think it’s an apt title for our blog as it encompasses not only the wonderful, exciting feelings of being in love but the wonderful, exciting, real-life moments of life together…forever. The 12.22 is our wedding date…the beginning of our forever.
Not all my posts are deep and heavy, as can be evidenced by this post on good apps to download, this post on ways to save money, and this post on my somewhat unpopular views on Facebook and social media. I’m also working on 101 goals. Every now and then I’ll throw in a post on military life.

I really enjoy reading what you’re doing here. My Grandfather was a WWII Navy pilot over Japan and dropped the surrender papers over Wake Island among other things. He still has great stories and has taught us to Love the US, and I am doing my best to pass that love of country on to my children.
I am a single mom of 5 boys. My husband left suddenly when I was 5 months pregnant with our 5th little guy (a surprise pregnancy – and my littlest ray of sunshine!) I know our lives would be very different if we lived in many other parts of the world. I thank God for putting us in the USA and for those who help protect the freedom, opportunity, and faith we have in this country every single day. Pilot, your job means so much to so many of us. Thank You fro protecting my boys in ways I cannot. Bonnie, You and your children’s sacrifice – time alone, the worry, so much I’ve heard of from other military friends – how do we say thank you? Please just know you have 5 of the greatest boys in the world and their mom praying for you and thanking God for you every day. Keep up the good work and God Bless…
