We are excited to join in again!

Thank you for visiting our blog.  We are the Pilot and Bonnie
and we strive as a family to live out the
greatest commandments…..to love God
and love people.  We have one (adorable!!) son
whom we call the Wingman.  He will be 1 this summer.

We are also an Air Force family!  The Pilot has blogged a
few times about our current life as he goes through
pilot training.  In the next few months, Bonnie will also
be blogging about pilot training from a wife’s perspective!

I thought I would change things up some and have
a little interview so you can get to know us better!

1. Where are you from?
We are both from Southern California, just north of Los Angeles.
Bonnie would love to settle there someday but
the Pilot is up for settling some place new!  We’ll see where
God takes us!

2. What is your favorite animal?
the Pilot: Cats.
Bonnie: Dogs and llamas.

3. How do you spend your free time?
the Pilot: Sleeping. Watching movies.  Playing with the Wingman.
Bonnie: I enjoy reading and watching movies.  I also love hiking
and going for walks.   Going on road trips is also a lot of fun!

4. What is the most adventurous thing you’ve done?
The Pilot: Flying formation within ten feet of another
aircraft.
Bonnie: In 2008, I hiked Mt. Whitney in CA….the
tallest mountain in the continental US.

5. When you were younger, what did you want to be when
you grew up?
The Pilot: A pilot.
Bonnie: Through the years, I’ve wanted to be an
Olympic ice skater, concert pianist,
an author, checker at Vons, a newspaper
columnist, missionary to Colombia, wife and Mom

And a few random facts about us….

The Pilot:

1. I vehemently hate snakes.

2. I am a huge Stargate fan.

3.  When I was in Cubbies around age 4, I cut the ponytail of the girl
sitting in front of me.

4. I am a fan of Celtic Woman, David Foster, and Kurt Bestor.

Bonnie:

1. I don’t like Girl Scout cookies.

2. I really, really don’t like feet.  And I hate (yes,
that is a strong word….I reserve it for only a few things)
having my feet touched.

3. I love to travel.  We roadtripped the US in 2012.
I’ve also been to Europe (Romania and the Netherlands)
and I look forward to more opportunities for international travel.

4. I love Disneyland!!  I feel like a little kid when I go with
how excited I get!
