Songs for Married Life

The other day I was listening to an assortment of music and realized that quite a bit of my songs really mean something specific to me.  Some just remind me of the fall of 2009.  Some just make me laugh.  Some remind me of specific seasons of life.  And some just say “marriage.”  I thought I would do a post with some of the great songs I’ve enjoyed about marriage and married life!

As For Me and My House by John Waller

Dancing in the Minefields by Andrew Peterson (also blogged about it here)

Forever Road by Darius Rucker

I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) by Steven Curtis Chapman

I Will Be Here by Steven Curtis Chapman

Life With You by Celtic Thunder (my list wouldn’t be complete without “our song.”  🙂 )

Love is Not a Fight by Warren Barfield (blogged about briefly here)

Love Like Crazy by Lee Brice

The Marriage Prayer by John Waller

Moment Made for Worshiping by Steven Curtis Chapman

Then by Brad Paisley

This Day by Steven Curtis Chapman

That’s When I Love You by Phil Vassar

Anyone have any to add?

  2. All of those sound like great songs! Newsong also has a lovely song, which I used for our slideshow at our wedding, but right now I can’t think of the title and I’m away from home so I can’t check the CD. 🙂 It’s about how God brings two people together.
